I can’t believe our wedding day was a month and a half ago! The celebration started as early as Wednesday and lasted well into Sunday. I’ve seriously never had this much fun and getting to share it with Harris is such a highlight of my life. I married the most amazing man! The saying ‘it takes a village’ took on a whole new meaning for me during that weekend. I’m forever grateful for the generosity and support we received. Harris and I got so lucky to be marrying into our new families and friendships. More than anything we wanted our guests to experience something different and have a blast doing it, and I think we nailed it!
Our Marietta crew did such a great job showing our out-of-town guests how beautiful Marietta is. Some very amazing people hosted a Wedding Weekend Kickoff BBQ, Bridal Luncheon, Rehearsal Dinner, and Morning After Brunch - to those people, you are all gems. Thank you for making the weekend such a fun and memorable experience! To everyone who traveled from Texas, Utah, Louisiana, New York, California, Montana, and even Thailand - I'm tearing up just thinking about it...Thank you all for being there, there's no way it would've been the same without you and you really made us feel special. To those that couldn't make it - we love you so much and we missed you! Thank you for the sweet messages and words of encouragement as we start our marriage. To our parents and siblings and grandparents - thank you for the unconditional love you give, always. For supporting us through our adventures, even if that meant time and distance away. We definitely don't say this enough, but y'all are our rocks and we owe so much of what we have and who we are to you!
The piece of advice I got over and over again was this:
Take it all in, because in the blink of an eye it'll be over.
Despite there being small hurdles (changing our ceremony site the week of - if the sun's out, we're doing it outside and me forgetting about my wedding dress the day of - aka being a perfect fit into the DuPre clan), the only thing I would change is that it had to end.
I can't thank Aline Marin Photography  enough for capturing these moments. Below are just a few of my favorites! Still can't believe it wasn't a dream. We’re forever reliving the most incredible day of our lives.
